James Marsters in "Dragonball: Evolution" By: MaidenGreen
Justin Chatwin stars as Goku, the popular anime hero in this 2009 film based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. In this 2009 film, Dragonball: Evolution, James Marsters takes on the role of the legendary Piccolo Daimao, or Lord Piccolo. He is the evil half of the Namekian that removed his evil in order to become the guardian of the Earth; this negative energy took on a physical form, becoming a cast-off being. He and the good half, Kami, are linked, so if one dies, the other also will die.
In this film, we also get to see Yun-Fat Chow (always a pleasure) as Master Roshi, Emmy Rossum as Bulma, and Jamie Chung as Chi Chi.
Airtimes: Saturday March 13th @ 7:30 PM on MOMAX
Summary: The story begins with Goku, who seeks out upon his adoptive grandfather Grandpa Gohan's dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls. Of which he has one, in order to prevent the evil Lord Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. And Goku's quest is to obtain the mystical Dragonballs before Piccolo does.
