By: MaidenGreen

Check out Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seth Green in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. on the ABC Family Channel.  Gellar stars opposite her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr.  The two are expecting their first child this fall.  Also starring are Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini, and Peter Boyle.

Airtimes:
Monday July 12th @ 5 PM on CARTOON

Scooby-Doo Summary:
Well Zoinks! They're back together again!! After two years apart, Mystery, Inc. are back together and ready to solve the mystery of Spooky Island. Spooky Island is a resort run by one Mr. Emile Mondavarious, who is having troubles with what he believes are real spooks. This is bad for business, when it gets around and threatens to send the guests scattering back to the mainland. Mondavarious convinces the gang that they are needed and should work together. But is the island really haunted, or is there just a sinister individual behind all the ride malfunctions and creepy, crawly creatures? If so, who could it be?

Scooby-Doo 2 Summary:
When Mystery, Inc. are guests of honor at the grand opening of the Coolsville Museum of Criminology, a masked villain shows up and creates havoc before stealing the costumes of the gang's most notorious villains: Black Knight Ghost, Pterodactyl Ghost and Tar Monster. Could it be that their nemesis, mad scientist Jonathan Jacobo has returned and is trying to recreate their deadliest foes? Velma has a crush on the hunk / museum curator Patrick Wisely but why is he acting so suspicious? The Mystery Gang is hard pressed to succeed this time, since pesky TV reporter Heather Jasper-Howe insists they are buffoons.

By coincidence, this past week one of my activities while in LA was to catch the taping of a new ABC sitcom pilot "Don't Try This At Home" which stars Matthew Lillard  --- who played Shaggy in the Scooby Doo movies.

Lillard was hilarious, although I'm not so sure that the show will get picked up.   Think "Friends" with kids.

Leah Remini plays opposite Lillard as a married couple. It also stars Jonathan Silverman who has been kind of off-the-radar for ages.

I managed to get a copy of the shooting script, signed by the cast. Could be a collectors item Wink

Wow-Jonathan Silverman. I can remember when he was supposed to be the next big thing. Good gosh, that was a while ago.
I also remember The Single Guy-although he might not be grateful that I do LOL

Best wishes,
